From the Top Tune in to WRR Classical 101.1 this Saturday morning at 9 a.m. and hear Classical Music’s future on From the Top with your host, Christopher O’Reilly.  This week From the Top helps to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the historic Chandler Music Hall in Vermont’s Green Mountains.  The program features a teenage violinist performing Fritz Kreisler and a young pianist who is carrying on his grandfather’s musical legacy.  It’s a fun show for the whole family, From the Top on Saturday at 9 a.m. on WRR Classical 101.1

Impressions Impressionist painting remains the most attractive period in the history of modern art and the most appreciated by the public. The impressionist style of painting is characterized chiefly by a group of artists working in and around France between 1867 and 1886. Their work became a major influence known as French Impressionism, and would later spread to music.  
This summer and fall, thanks to an exclusive loan from the Art Institute of Chicago, the Kimbell Museum of Art plays host to 92 of the most celebrated works by Impressionist painters.
